Split Level Office & Living

Sometimes a garden requires a design that is out of the ordinary in order to make the most of the available space. Therefore a garden room doesn’t have to be a standard shape or design, it can be anything you can imagine and quite often the garden dictates how the building needs to work. This particular garden is almost as high as the first floor of the house with a set of steps up to a raised lawn.

Not only was it high up but due to the nature of the previous layout we were able to create a split level building offering an garden office and living room at different heights. This created a fantastic open plan area that was naturally divided into two spaces. Sliding doors allow plenty of light into the building without intruding on the interior or exterior space.
